Ratings & Reviews
Sorrel
Good germination rate and healthy plants. A pleasant twist to liven up a salad, and I've found it very successful in adding a bit of greenery to a pie filling.
Not many seedlings
Germination rate isn't great and but the surviving seedlings seems to grow strongly.. After reading other reviews I suspect it's due to the hot spring/summer in Brisbane.
Very useful salad and sandwich green
I'm growing sorrel in part (near heavy) shade and it's still producing lots of leaves. Pests don't care for it and it is not bothered by frost. It has a citrusy flavour which adds a nice tangy taste to your salad or sandwich mix. I haven't tried it cooked yet. Definitely deserving of a spot in your garden.
Great germination and healthy plants
Planted seeds early spring, germinated quickly. Healthy plant, great to cut leaves for salad mixes. Definitely worth having, does. It take up much room
